Last week, nominations for the 2011 Academy Awards Oscars went public. The film The Social Network, winning by a landslide in the last edition of the Golden Globes, is nominated as one of the favorites films to take the coveted Oscar statuette in several categories. However, it will not be easy because it is competing with titles from the likes of Black Swan with Natalie Portman and The King’s Speech, hailed by critics. It is the most nominated film aiming at 12 awards!
Once again, Spanish are in luck because Javier Bardem has been nominated for best actor for his role in Biutiful.
For the 83rd Oscars edition, Anne Hathaway and James Franco are the hosts of the show on February 27th.
In the meantime, we are looking forward to seeing all dazzling actresses walking down the red carpet at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles.

Once again we pay tribute to music!
Today we want to show you some pictures from the annual American Music Awards (AMA). This event took place last weekend at the Nokia Theatre in L.A (California). For this gala, spectators were able to vote online for their favorite artists and decide the winners.
The young Canadian Justin Bieber was the main protagonist at the Music Awards. He won the four awards he was nominated to for pop/rock male, album of the year for My World 2.0, artist of the year and breakthrough artist, thus becoming the youngest artist winning this award.
